Orillia Jazz Festival: Official After Party at Couchiching Craft Brewery

Couchiching Craft Brewery is *thrilled* to be partnering with Arts Orillia to host the “Orillia Jazz Festival’s Official After Party” featuring the incredibly talented Denielle Bassels.

Already an award-winning artist for the song “Cool Cool Water” from her 2017 album What About Wool Wishbags, Bassels garnered the Grand Prize in the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Competition in the Jazz category.

Santa Claus Parade

Once again, the Orillia District Chamber of Commerce will be running the Santa Claus Parade! This is the largest Christmas parade North of Toronto! Featuring over 100 floats, bands, and Santa himself, this is a great way to ring in the holiday season!

44th Annual Orillia Scottish Festival

A three day celebration of Scottish culture. Friday evening Ceilidh at the Legion. Saturday parade from Peter Street to Couchiching Beach park for Scottish entertainment, vendors, beer tent, pipe bands and children’s village. Sunday afternoon Ceilidh at the Legion. Roots North Music Festival

Roots North Music Festival brings together amazing performers for a weekend of great live music in Downtown Orillia.

The Roots North Music Festival is very happy to announce headlining artists for its return to a live audience at the St. Paul’s Centre, Orillia on April 22 and 23.
With the support of the City of Orillia, and many other sponsors, the festival will bring to Orillia exciting and diverse acts such as Good Lovelies, Steve Poltz, Terra Lightfoot, Logan Staats, Lydia Persaud Music, and Craig Mainprize Music.

Mariposa Folk Festival Satellite Concerts

 

The Mariposa Folk Festival is excited to announce that it will be presenting the Mariposa Satellite Concerts on Saturday, October 23, 2021. This event will include an amazing lineup of artists with afternoon shows at five satellite venues and a main stage performance at night.

Ian Thomas – A Life In Song

Join us for an intimate evening with this Juno Award-Winning singer, songwriter, actor, film scorer and author brings many stories often filled with humour.

Known for his mega hit: 1973’s “Painted Ladies”, Ian now has a catalogue of 14+ albums of his own, 4 albums with The Boomers and 3 albums as part of the group Lunch at Allen’s.

This evening is sure to include some magical musical moments!

Luke McMaster – My Life is a Song

Luke experienced early success as one half of the gold-selling duo McMaster & James (Love Wins Everytime, Thank You).  This led to an award-winning song writing career with collaboration with global superstars Rihanna, Nick Lachey, (98 degrees) and 4 seasons of Canada’s Instant Star.  In 2013 Luke returned to his passion and roots as a performing artist with his solo hit Good Morning Beautiful.  Luke’s latest project ‘Icons of Soul’ features collaboration with iconic Motown songwriter Lamont Dozier and the King of Blue-Eyed Soul, Felix Cavaliere.
