Metered Parking
As of May 1, 2023:
Mississaga Street East and West Street North/South will be $3.00 an hour. Mississaga Street West and all side streets will be $1.75 an hour. On-street metered parking has a two hour time limit.
Pay and Display Parking
Pay and Display parking lots have a minimum 15-minute purchase time $0.25. When parking is needed for longer periods of time, residents and visitors are encouraged to park in the municipal lots which have five-hour or eight-hour time limits.
Please look for posted signage that indicates the time limit in the lots. Unexpired time on a Pay and Display stub can be used at any other municipal Pay and Display parking lot, or metered parking lot in the downtown area.
As of June 1, 2023:
Off-street/Pay and Display
As of June 1, 2023, rates for off-street parking in Pay and Display Lots 2 and 5 increase to $1.25/hour. All other pay and display municipal parking lots will remain $1.00 an hour.
Pay and Display parking lots have a minimum 15-minute purchase time $0.25 and is enforced Monday to Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. When parking is needed for longer periods of time, residents and visitors are encouraged to park in the municipal lots which have five-hour or eight-hour time limits.

Downtown Parking Permits
If your building does not have sufficient space for you and/or your staff vehicles, monthly parking permits are available from the City for one of the numerous municipal lots located in the Downtown core. The cost for the month is minimal, and helps to keep the metered parking spots available for your customers.

Parking Ticket Withdrawal Program
Have you received an expired meter ticket or a fail to display ticket while shopping in Downtown Orillia? The City of Orillia has the authority to withdraw one parking ticket per calendar year, per person/license plate. As of September 25th, 2023, please bring your ticket to the City of Orillia within 7 business days of receiving your ticket. The back of the ticket (name, address, phone number) must be filled out completely legible along with a declaration slip. As long as all demands are met, we will happily erase one parking ticket for you!
This program will be facilitated by the City of Orillia in the interim until the BIA office is staffed again.

You can pay parking tickets online using VISA or Mastercard. It is quick, easy, secure, and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by going to the Pay Tickets website.
Other Payment Options
- In person at the Orillia City Centre, 50 Andrew Street South, (First Floor), Monday to Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Cash, cheque or debit is accepted.
- By mail: Orillia City Centre, 50 Andrew Street South, Suite 300, Orillia ON, L3V 7T5.
- The drop box by the front entrance of the Orillia City Centre.
