Every Friday and Saturday nights from June 30 – September 2, join downtown Orillia as the restaurant patios extend out on to the streets starting at 6pm.

See You on the Patio will see the roads closed to traffic on Mississaga St W from Andrew St to West St, Mississaga St E from Peter St to Matchedash St, and Peter St S from Mississaga St to Colbourne St.

Sweet Summer Dessert Festival – Downtown Orillia

Join us downtown Orillia on Mississaga St E from West St to Peter St for this awesome new dessert festival! This will be taking place on Mississaga St E between West St and Peter St! If you are a business that specializes in baked goods and sweet treats, you won’t want to miss this festival! This event will feature an array of dessert vendors, live music, and a sweet treat competition!

Midnight in Manhattan – The Common Stove

MiM II: Friday May 5th, 10pm. Tickets now available online (link in bio)!
MiM is an underground supper club of sorts. A debaucherous time in The Common Stove’s new private dining room in The Lower Sales Level amongst lovers & other strangers. They will be free pouring magnums of wine all night. Chef Ben and a few guest chefs (Collingwood / Toronto) will be looking to one up each other with each dish.
– Doors open at 10pm. Dining from 11pm. Friday May 5th. Limited tickets available. $200/person

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Downtown Orillia! Our downtown restaurants have lots of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations going on that you won’t want to miss out on!

This year’s Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) Orillia Homes Tour is going virtual! Explore our five beautiful homes and learn seasonal entertaining tips from Local Experts, all from the comfort of your own home.

This popular event supports scholarships for young women pursuing post-secondary education.

This event will feature a few downtown Orillia businesses; The Northern Joinery (Makers Market), Era 67, Le Petit Chapeau, and Long Way Home Decor.

Join the Roaring 2020’s!

This fundraiser will feature food, music, and activities inspired by the 1920’s.

Immerse yourself in a multi floor experience that will transport you to another century. Themed musicians will be playing in each area, including The Big Butter and The Egg Men. Explore the past with an exclusive pop up exhibition about Orillia in the 1920’s. We will be joined by local food purveyors and specialty drinks will be served. There will also be a photo booth so be sure to dress snazzy and jazzy for the occasion. Fund raised will go towards OMAH’s programming for children and youth.

OMAH offers educational and community programming for children and youth ages 0-18. We provide a safe, fun environment to explore, explain and guide through practical experience. We proudly deliver integrated visual-art and history programs to schools in the Simcoe, Durham, York Region and Trillium Lakelands district school boards. We serve over 1,600 students annually through the delivery of 10 educational programs. We serve over 600 children and youth annually through the delivery of our community programs. Our community programs include Baby Art Crawl, Steelies Art Club, Family Fun, day camps, and an annual high school art exhibition.

Tickets are $50 for general and $75 for VIP.

VIP ticket holders will receive a password to enter the jail cells for a unique experience.  There are only 40 VIP tickets, so you better act fast to buy your tickets!

Join us on the main street in Downtown Orillia and enjoy a magical evening of local fare prepared for you by seven downtown restaurateurs and chefs! Enjoy the ambiance, listen to the sound of music, watch the sunset & enjoy a delicious dinner on the main street.

Treat yourself to a delectable outdoor dinner with locally sourced, organic food, prepared by downtown restaurateurs. A special six-course prix fixe menu inspired by farm fresh ingredients, complete with wine & beer pairing, will be created especially for 125 dinner guests. Signature event gifts, provided by downtown businesses, will be presented to each guest at the end of the evening.

Information on tickets and sponsors of the event will be provided closer to the date along with the menu.

The evening promises to be a magical dinner experience full of relaxation, delicious fare and great company.

Come join us at this fun Night Market in Downtown Orillia! The Night Market is a great way to kick off the Downtown Summer Block Party beginning the next day on Saturday, July 27!

Enjoy the ambiance, watch the sunset and listen to the sound of great music on the street. Grab a treat from your favourite vendor or artisan, get your produce for the weekend, meet up with friends and enjoy the atmosphere.

Meet us on the street in the Orillia Library and Opera House block between West and Andrew Street from 6 pm – 9 pm on Friday, July 26! 

If you are an artist, artisan, antique collector, farmer or food vendor, we would love to have you at our Night Market. Complete and return the Night Market Vendor Form 2019 along with the $35 fee and we will reserve your spot on the street.
